About Chrissie Boon

Chrissie’s love for sugar art has been a long time coming. Starting in her mom’s kitchen with her little toy oven, to eventually running her own Christmas cookie business. It only seemed fitting that she follow her love to a professional level. Chrissie took her skills to that level by completing her Masters in Cake Decorating and Confectionery Arts in Toronto. There she studied along side fellow decorators from the United States, Germany and Hong Kong. She recently completed her Elite Cake Decorator certificate at the internationally renowned Klara Johnson’s School of Confectionery Arts. There she had the opportunity to study under world famous cake decorators. Today, she and her husband run their custom cake studio, Too Nice to Slice, which is also home to Icing Inspirations, their cake decorating supply store.
