About Bronwen Weber

As Executive Chef of Frosted Art Bakery & Studio in Dallas, Texas, custom cake artist Bronwen Weber’s motto is: “If you can dream it, I can buttercream it.” Known for her outsized and over-the-top creations, Bronwen has made cakes that, among other things, rotate, light up, hang on a wall, recirculate chocolate, and contain functioning fountains — some so tall she needs a cherry picker to decorate them! She is a former Pastry Chef instructor at Le Cordon Bleu’s Texas Culinary Academy in Austin, where she taught cake decorating, chocolate work, and candy arts. Her Bombay Romance Cake won the Grand Prize at the 2005 Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show. Her couture cakes have been featured in Brides magazine, American Cake Decorating magazine, Cake Central magazine, England’s Cakecraft magazine and on The Knot, just to name a few places. And in more than two dozen appearances on the Food Network’s Cake Challenge, Bronwen took home so many gold medals she was crowned Cake Challenge Champion!
